The Butler County Historical Society Collection on Local Response to the Events on July 13, 2024.

On July 13, 2024, the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump, and the tragic loss of life and turmoil that followed, sent shockwaves through our community. Nearly a year later, we continue to recover, reflect, and strive to move forward from this event.

The Butler County Historical Society Collection on Local Response to the Events on July 13, 2024 aims to preserve first-hand accounts and primary documents of the event and its aftermath. By collecting a diverse range of materials, we hope to provide future researchers with a better understanding of this event in the context of local and national history.
