Contribute to the Collection

The Butler County Historical Society is collecting digital submissions (including images, stories, audio, and video) from the July 13th rally and the weeks following. We want to hear from everyone in the community with a story to tell, not just those who attended the rally on July 13th. These first-hand accounts will provide future researchers with a unique lens into the perspective of Butler County residents who experienced this event and its aftermath in real time.

Our research question is simply this: how did the events of that day impact you and your lived experience as a Butler County resident.

The form below is for submission of your personal digital documentation related to the events of July 13th, 2024 and its aftermath. Before contributing materials, please read the full Terms and Conditions. In the interest of protecting individuals' privacy, access to this collection will remain restricted for 15 years from the date of donation.
