Our boarding time for “Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition” is 10:15 a.m.
where we will take a chronological journey of the “unsinkable” ship that was
lost on her maiden voyage April 15, 1912. The compelling human stories of the
ship’s passengers are told through room recreations and over 260 authentic
artifacts that offer emotional connections to lives abruptly ended or altered
forever, including a suitcase, jewelry, china etched with the logo of the elite
White Star Line, and the ship’s D-Deck door. Each visitor will receive a
replica boarding pass of an actual passenger upon entry of the exhibit.
Recreations include first and third class corridors and cabins, the outdoor
café, and assimilated, touchable iceberg cooled to the temperature of the water
that fateful night. www.carnegiesciencecenter.org
